This year marks the tenth anniversary of the accident which has created one of Ireland's biggest events.
In 2010, Mark Pollock fell from a second storey window, breaking his back and causing damage to his spinal cord which has left him paralyzed. Run in the Dark was established by the Mark Pollock trust to support Mark's journey to cure paralysis.
Usually, it's a massive event across 50 cities with 50,000 participants and while things might be a little different this year, there'll still be plenty of ways to get involved.
Speaking to Pamela Joyce on Dermot and Dave, Mark Pollock explained how Run in the Dark will be a huge virtual event.
