It's all about Prorogation
Just when we thought the British Prime Minister couldn't outdo his brazen self, he announces what most people are calling his craziest decision to date. But it's far from lunacy in his eyes.
Boris wants to prorogue his parliament (i.e. suspend it) in an attempt to stop MPs blocking his beloved UK no-deal Brexit vote.
This break would prevent the government from implementing new laws, and with nothing changed, the UK would leave automatically. Music to the PM's ears.
Journalist Gráinne Ní Aodha, of thejournal.ie chats to Dermot and Dave about the manoeuvre and explains why the Queen has a lot to answer for.
