Look lads, we know they're not doctors but we trust The Blizzards to wow us with amazing music that is totally "them".
It has been eleven years since Bressie and co. released their last album Domino Effect (oh the memories) and now, after a revitalising hiatus, The Last Great Algorithm is here for the world to enjoy.

The band chat to Today FM's Dermot and Dave about the inspiration behind their collection of tunes and how they had to get with the times.
we kinda stopped playing 5 or 6 years ago and realised the music industry is completely different. Everything is an algorithm
Edging your way back into the mainstream is no easy task, but these clever clogs slipped on their creative caps to venture into the world of documentary making. Well mockumentary making actually.
You can get music out very quickly and easily but for us, we wanted to do something different
They teamed up with Dublin filmmaker Jeffrey Doyle and a small production squad to create The Blizzards: Behind The Music - a satirical mockumentary, which follows the band and their eccentric manager Duncan Browne over the course of a year:
Louize Carroll then reveals what it was like trying to blend in as a new member in 2017, "they put me through my paces...I was a little bit intimidated by it". But she loves them all now. We think.
The Blizzards treated us to a live performances of something old, but still fresh as f***, Trust Me I'm A Doctor, and something new, Who Would Want To Be In A Guitar Band, and it made us realise how much we actually missed their sound.
