One of Ireland's funniest ladies, Maeve Higgins has teamed up with comedian Will Forte (of MacGruber, Saturday Night Live and Last Man on Earth fame) to bring us a supernatural film like no other.
Extra Ordinary centres around a sweet and lonely small town driving instructor called Rose (Higgins) who must use her supernatural ‘talent’ to save the daughter of a local man, Martin (played by Barry Ward), from a washed up rock-star (Forte) looking to use her in a satanic pact that will reignite his fame.
Here's a taste of what to expect:
Dermot and Dave chat to Higgins and Forte about the movie and ask how Will ended up working in Ireland.
They also discuss real-life ghost stories in Cork, Maeve's stunt double and why Richard Dean Anderson won't star in MacGruber 2, which is in the works as I type.
*MacGruber is a 2010 film based a string of Saturday Night Live parody sketches about McGyver. Defo worth a watch!
