Kiss. My. Face
After many years away from the spotlight, tonight, at 9:30pm on BBC One, Steve Coogan's broadcasting alter ego returns to our screens on This Time with Alan Partridge. And we couldn't be more excited.
If you're not a Partridge fan, or aren't familiar what he does, then poor you. Ah no, just imagine a more hapless version of David Brent (from The Office) working as a radio & TV presenter. Yeah...he's that cringe. He always has a way of saying/doing the wrong thing at the worst time, which makes for comedy gold.
The new series revolves around Partridge being asked to stand-in as a guest presenter on a daytime TV show, This Time, after the sudden death of one of the co-hosts.
This time though he will have to share the limelight with new co-host Jennie Gresham (Susannah Fielding), which proves to be an alien concept to him. And with Jennie there as an 'advisor' of sorts, how is that gonna work?
Judging by all reports it's Mid Morning Matters and Knowing Me Knowing You brought into the modern age and is just as fantastic as ever!
Here's a little bit of what to expect:
