Dating is being done differently during the lockdown and so is dumping.
It appears that many of those who want to end their relationships aren’t waiting until the restrictions are lifted so they can do it in person – they’re doing it on Zoom instead!
And of course, there’s a catchy name for this phenomenon: Zumping, which is getting dumped over zoom.
To use it in a sentence; 'I just got zumped'.
The term has been coined by The Guardian, who also helpfully put forward FaceTumped and Housepumped for people who are ditched through FaceTime and Houseparty.
