A teenager is in a serious condition in hospital following a serious assault last night in Dublin city centre.
Gardaí are seeking witnesses to the assault which happened on Cuffe Street at a quarter to eight.
A fight broke out between a number of men on Aungier Street and moved on to Cuffe Street .
One man received stab wounds to the upper leg and was taken to St. James' Hospital.
Gardai say the man, who is in his late teens, is in a serious condition.
