Met Éireann has a Status Yellow rainfall warning in place today for Atlantic coastal counties.
The warning covers Connacht, Clare, Kerry and Donegal.
Heavy rain is expected during this afternoon and evening in those areas, with 20-30 mm falling over a short period of time.
AA Roadwatch is also advising drivers to be careful due to possible surface water.
