A young woman is in a serious condition in hospital after a crash in County Clare.
Emergency services were called to the one-car crash at about half two this morning, near Crusheen.
A woman in her late teens was rushed to University Hospital Limerick for treatment.
The road is closed for technical examinations today.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses.
A spokesperson said, "Gardaí are appealing to anyone who has information, who may have witnessed the incident or who may have video (dash-cam footage), to contact Ennis Garda Station, the Garda Confidential Line, or any Garda Station."
