A woman who was stabbed in Dublin's IFSC area almost two weeks ago has died in hospital.
The victim, who was in her 40s, was assaulted on the night of January 20th.
She had been walking home from work when someone attacked her on the pedestrian walkway between Georges Dock and Custom House Quay.
She underwent emergency surgery at the Mater Hospital, but Gardai say she was pronounced dead today.
A post mortem exam is due to take place which will determine the course of the investigation.
A teenager was arrested three days after the incident.
He is currently charged and before the Courts.
