A woman has been killed and a man seriously injured in a road crash in Cork.
The woman was a passenger in the car that crashed with a truck this afternoon.
It happened at around 12:40 pm near Baxters Bridge on the Bandon to Carhoon Road.
The woman who died was in her 60s.
Meanwhile, the driver of the car has been seriously injured.
The man, who is in his 60s, is now being treated at Cork University Hospital.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses to contact them.
