A woman has been killed in Dublin city centre after receiving a number of injuries at an apartment on Bonham Street in Dublin 8.
The woman in her 30 was taken to St James' Hospital where she was pronounced dead a short time later.
A man in his 30s has been arrested and is being held at Kevin Street Garda station.
The scene remains sealed off and a number of diversions are in place.
Investigations are continuing.
