A woman in her 30s has been found dead at a house in Co. Wexford.
She was found unresponsive after Gardaí and emergency services were called to a home in the Baile Eoghain area of Gorey, in the early hours of Thursday morning.
A man in his 30s has been arrested in connection with the incident. He's being questioned at a Garda station in the eastern region.
The scene has been preserved for a technical examination and the Office of the State Pathologist and local Coroner have been notified.
A senior investigating officer has been appointed to lead the investigation. An incident room has been set up at Gorey Garda Station and a family liaison officer has been appointed.
Gardaí are appealing to witnesses to come forward.
