Gardai in Kildare are appealing for witnesses to a carjacking in Kill this morning.
Just before 7am a woman in her 40s was flagged down by a man as she approached a roundabout on Bothar Philip.
He threatened the woman at knife point before making off in her car, a blue Hyundai Tucson.
Gardai say the car travelled in the direction of the N7 northbound.
The woman wasn't injured but is said to be badly shaken.
The car still hasn't been recovered and no arrests have been made at this stage.
Gardaí say the man was wearing a high-vis jacket and may have been involved in a single car collision on the Straffan road a short time earlier.
