Met Eireann has upgraded its wind warnings for two southern counties.
The national forecaster has now issued an Orange Wind weather warning for Cork and Kerry.
It will come into effect from 8 pm tonight and last through to midnight.

Both Kerry and Cork could experience damaging gusts of up to 120km/h for a time early tonight.
The counties are currently under a status yellow wind warning.
That alert will remain in place until 7am Thursday morning.
