Irish people are more likely to emigrate than anyone else in Europe - even though we don't have the highest rate of unemployment.
That's according to a new report published today, which outlines the extent of Ireland's brain drain.
The report from researchers at University College Cork finds that not all emigrants are unemployed, but that many are enticed abroad by more attractive career prospects.
And some have reported such an improvement in their quality of life that they may simply decide never to return home.
