Wild Atlantic Way Worth €3bn A Year - Fáilte Ireland
The Wild Atlantic Way is worth €3bn a year, according to Fáilte Ireland.
The route runs from Donegal, through Connacht to Cork, and was first marketed 10 years ago.
Fáilte Ireland estimates 120,000 jobs have been supported by the tourism attraction.
"Fáilte Ireland has invested significantly in the tourism product on the Wild Atlantic Way over the last decade, supporting the industry to create a truly unique offering that inspires visitors to stay longer and spend more," said Paul Kelly, the CEO of the tourism body.
