Trinity College, Dublin has retained its spot among the top 100 Universities in the world.
It university jumped 17 places in the QS World University rankings, to 81st place.
Trinity College was tied in the rankings with the University of Southampton with a score of 63.5 out of 100.
University College Dublin was the second-highest-ranked Irish college, coming in 171st place with a score of 48.8.
The University of Galway was ranked number 289 with a score of 36. University College Cork came in at number 292 and scored 35.7 out of 100.
