A wet Christmas is more likely than a white one this year, according to forecasters.
Met Eireann expects light rain on Christmas Eve while Christmas Day will be a mix of showers and dry periods.

Temperatures are set to stay between 5 and 9 degrees on the 24th and 25th of December.
It appears the only part of the country that might have some white topped-hills is north Ulster.
Temperatures are expected to be the lowest in the area, with some sleet possible in higher areas.
