Wednesday has been voted the most popular day of the week to work from the office.
A survey of 500 office-based businesses in Dublin, has found in-person attendance in offices on Wednesdays was between 61% and 70%.
Tuesdays and Thursdays were also popular days for staff to come into the office, with employers reporting on-site capacity of between 51% and 60%.
The research carried out by Dublin Chamber and Savills, found companies are continuing to offer remote working options to meet staff demand for flexibility.
However, the survey also found most employers require workers to be present in the office for two or three days a week.
The majority of companies (76%) haven't reduced the size of their offices, despite the prevalence of remote and hybrid working.
Four in five companies say in-person engagement with colleagues is the main reason why staff return to the office.
Other benefits include meeting with friends after work, shopping or attending events (40%), and virtual meeting fatigue (39%).
