Former Taoiseach Brian Cowen says his government never saw the crash coming - and didn't have a plan B.
In his first full interview since leaving office - reported on in the Independent this morning - Mr Cowen stands over the controversial banks guarantee.
He told TG4's Comhra programme that the government didn't believe people who were warning of danger at the time of collapse.
