Dublin City Council says its water restrictions aren't working as well as they had hoped - and it may now be well into next week before normal service resumes.
More than 1.5 million people across Dublin, Kildare and Wicklow are affected by the restrictions - which aimed to conserve water use because of a shortage caused by problems at a water treatment plant.
The restrictions had been scheduled to end on Monday - although that target may now not be met.
