The Gardaí are warning the public to be on the look out for highly dangerous radioactive material - which was stolen from a business premises in Swords, in Dublin over the weekend.
It's described as seven lightning preventers which were contained in a red metal box.
They have the appearance of aluminium or stainless steel but are of no scrap value.
Gardaí are warning that this material is highly dangerous and should not be touched or approached.
Anyone who discovers these items should contact the Gardaí or the Radiological Protection Institute of Ireland immediately.
