The Chair of the board overseeing the new National Children's Hospital is warning the project's costs could rise even further.
Fred Barry says construction inflation could lead to an increase in the cost, which is already projected to be about a billion more than previously estimated.
The Oireachtas Health Committee has heard there's been no overspend on the budget since the Government approved the revised bill for the hospital last year.
The building frame for the new children's health facility, estimated to cost €1.4 billion, is now under construction.
But Fred Barry says that cost could increase.
