Gardaí say it's vital people keep following the restrictions in place aimed at stopping the spread of COVID-19.
Mild weather is expected today, but the force is urging everyone to stay at home wherever possible and to continue to practice social distancing when outside the home.
Deputy Commissioner John Twomey has thanked people for complying with the guidelines so far - and says it's important that continues.
He said: "Maintaining or taking exercise with a 2km distance... only travelling for essential reasons... these are designed to ensure that we stop the spread of COVID-19, and we reduce the risk to our friends and our families.
"It is in all our interests that they are adhered to."
Figures released yesterday evening showed 17 more people had died in the Republic of Ireland after contracting COVID-19.
331 new cases were diagnosed - meaning there have been a total of 4,604 people diagnosed with the disease here.
