The violin, which played on while the Titanic sank, is expected to get a record price when it goes on sale today.
The instrument was found strapped to the body of Wallace Hartley who drowned along with his seven bandmates, and 15 hundred others when the Titanic went down in 1912.
It goes on auction today, and already has a reserve price of between 2 hundred and 30 and 3 hundred and 50 thousand euro.
Historian Wallace Tennyson-Acherberg says it may break the record for a single piece from the Titanic.
