A verdict is expected in the 52 million euro fraud and theft trial of former solicitor Thomas Byrne.
The jury will later today enter into its fourth day of deliberations on charges dating back from 2004 to 2007.
The jury has to consider 50 allegations of deception, forgery, fraud and theft.
Former solicitor Thomas Byrne is accused of transferring his clients’ houses into his name and then using the properties as collateral on multiple bank loans running into millions of euro.
The 47 year old who lives in Mountjoy Square in Dublin gave evidence at the trial that he acted under threat from his business partner, property developer John Kelly.
The jury has been given the option of returning majority verdicts - which means the court will accept a decision if at least ten of the 12 jurors are agreed.
