The NSA whistleblower, Edward Snowden, who leaked information about the US government's online surveillance programmes, has been offered political asylum by two Latin American countries.
Venezuela and Nicaragua, both known for their opposition to Washington, both say they're willing to offer the 30-year-old sanctuary.
Nicaragua's President Daniel Ortega says that "if circumstances permit", his government would be willing to shelter the man who has been in limbo in a Moscow airport since June 23.
