There are delays of up to 45 minutes for trains coming in and out of Heuston Station this morning after equipment was vandlised overnight.
A cable was stolen from some signalling equipment between Newbridge and Kildare.
Irish Rail says commuters can expect to be delayed.

Irish Rail Spokesperson Jane Cregan says there is a special manual signalling system in place.
“It takes longer for trains to get through that section of track,” she said.
“We are working to minimise the disruption but we expect that delays will persist through the morning peak.”
Irish Rail are also warning that real-time departures information on the app and website are inaccurate this morning.
