Hollywood actor Val Kilmer has died at the age of 65.
The American actor is being remembered as an 'icon' - who was a 'smart, challenging, brave, uber-creative firecracker'.
He starred in the 1980's classic Top Gun alongside Tom Cruise. His scenes in the 2022 sequel Top Gun: Maverick would be his last.
The American actor was also known for his lead role in Batman Forever and his portrayal of Jim Morrison in Oliver Stone's The Doors.
