Workers will not need a covid-19 vaccine before going back to the office.
The Taoiseach has confirmed this afternoon that proof of vaccination will not be necessary.
This morning, Minister Eamon Ryan said workers can expect to return to offices from September.
He added that it was time for life to return to normal.
The Minister insists the return to offices will be gradual and safe - and may involve a hybrid mix to start.
ISME has welcomed comments.
Its CEO Neil McDonnell says "the sooner this happens the better."
He added "We don't see office work as any threat to public health".
