The HSE's Covid-19 vaccine portal will open for those aged between 16 and 18 will open in "the coming days".
That's according to Education Minister Norma Foley who says all plans are working towards the full reopening of schools from next month.
CO2 monitors will also be made available to schools to ensure air quality is kept at safe levels for staff and students.
Minister Foley said she plans to bring a memo to Cabinet tomorrow to finalise the plans.
She said all preparation that's being done is a consequence of ongoing consultation with public health.
