Rapper Nipsey Hussle has been shot dead in his native Los Angeles.
The 33-year-old was shot a number of times, and was pronounced dead on arrival at hospital, the Los Angeles Times reported.
Two other people were wounded in the shooting outside Marathon Clothing in South Los Angeles.
Mayor of Los Angeles Eric Garcetti confirmed Hussle's death, saying: "Our hearts are with the loved ones of Nipsey Hussle."
Stars such as Rihanna have taken to social media to share their shock at the news.

Tributes have been paid online from many in the music industry, including Pharrell Williams, who wrote on Twitter that Hussle was a "positive" force who "inspired millions."
Meanwhile, Drake said on Instagram, "you were having the best run and I was so happy watching from distance.
The Canadian also shared that he and Hussle had talked about recording a song later in the year.
