US President Joe Biden has confirmed he will run for a second term, saying he intends to "finish the job".
He is the third Democrat to formally declare his candidacy for the 2024 US Presidential Election.
It's four years to the day since he announced his initial bid for the White House, while earlier this month he said he intended to run again at Knock Airport.
In his announcement, President Biden hit out at, what he describes as 'Make America Great Again extremists', saying "cutting social security that you've paid for your entire life while cutting taxes for the very wealthy, dictating what healthcare decisions women can make, banning books and telling people who they can love all why making it more difficult for you to be able to vote.
"When I ran for president four years ago, I said, we're in a battle for the soul of America, and we still are."
