Conflicting reports say up to 35 Muslim Brotherhood supporters have been killed after shootings in Cairo.
It's believed they were fired upon at a sit-in outside the military facility where Mohammed Morsi is being held.
The Egyptian military said one of their officers was killed and 40 more wounded in the shooting when a "terrorist group" tried to storm the army base at dawn.
A spokesman for Morsi's Muslim Brotherhood said its members were unarmed and were fired upon while praying outside the building.
