The "Uncles Ben's" brand has announced it will now be known as "Ben's Original".
Mars Food says new packaging will begin reaching store shelves in 2021.
The blue font and orange packaging will remain the same.

The company has also committed to removing the image on the packaging to create more equitable iconography.
Fiona Dawson, Global President Mars Food, Multisales and Global Customers says "Over the last several weeks, we have listened to thousands of consumers, our own Associates and other stakeholders from around the world. We understand the inequities that were associated with the name and face of the previous brand, and as we announced in June, we have committed to change."
