UCD Vet Hospital Issues Urgent Appeal For Dog Blood Donors

An urgent appeal for dog blood donors has been made by UCD's Vet Hospital.

The need to be over 25kg, between 1 and 8 years-old, healthy and have a good temperament.

Accidents and surgery are some of the reasons why dogs need transfusions and just like humans, they also have blood types.

UCD Vet Hosptial are looking for dog blood donors (yes you read that right).
If your pup is under 8 years, with a calm temperament, healthy and under 25kg than he could be a perfect donor

People are being asked to contact the Vet blood donor clinic.
