Gardai are questioning five men and two teenagers in connection with violence outside the Dail last month on the first day of the Dail sitting.
The arrests were made after early morning raids by armed detectives in Dublin.
The seven are being held at various Garda stations across the capital.
A high-level investigation was launched after public disorder around Leinster House on September 18th.
