Two men have been arrested after another man was shot in north Dublin.
It happened on St Margaret's Road in Finglas shortly after 5:00pm.
Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene where a man - aged in his 20s - was discovered with an apparent gunshot wound.
He has since being taken to the Mater Hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
A technical examination of the scene has taken place.
While two men, both aged in their 20s, have been arrested.
They are being held under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act at Finglas Garda station.
Gardaí are appealing for anyone with information, or anyone who may have witnessed this incident, to come forward.
They're particularly keen for anyone with camera or dash-cam footage to make it available to them.
