Two men are in hospital after a shooting and a road crash involving a car and a pedestrian in the Tallaght area of Dublin yesterday.
Yesterday evening at around 5pm, Gardaí and Emergency services were alerted to an incident at a house in the Kiltalown area of Jobstown.
There they discovered a man in his 30s with serious injuries, who had been being hit by a car.
A number of gunshots were also fired at the house during the incident.
The injured man was taken to Tallaght University Hospital for treatment, where his condition is described as being critical, but stable.
A second man, in his 20s, was also injured in the incident. He's being treated in hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
Later that evening, a car was discovered on fire on Mount Seskin Road.
Gardai are now examining two separate crime scenes.
No arrests have been made, and investigations are ongoing.
