Two men have died in a road crash in Co Limerick.
The men, aged 19 and 20, died when the car they were passengers in crashed into a wall on the N69 at Ballyengland, at around 7.25pm on Tuesday evening.
Two other men, the driver and another passenger, aged in their late teens, were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The bodies of the 19 and 20 year old men were taken to the mortuary at University Hospital Limerick, where a post-mortem is due to take place.
The road remained closed on Wednesday morning to allow for a technical examination to take place.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses, or anyone with video or dash-cam footage of the road at the time, to contact them at Askeaton Garda Station.
The death of the two men brings to 31 the number of people who've died on Irish roads so far this year.
