Two teenagers are dead and a gunman is in hospital after opening fire on five students at a high school in California.

Police said CCTV shows the 16-year-old suspect take a gun out of his backpack before shooting his victims at the Saugus High School in Santa Clarita, Los Angeles County.
He then shot himself in the head and is now in a "grave condition" in hospital, police added.
Officers recovered a weapon at the scene.
A 16-year-old female student and a 14-year-old male student have been confirmed as those who died.
Two female victims aged 14 and 15 and another male victim aged, 14, were also injured.
