Two children have died following a car fire in Co Westmeath.
Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene in Multyfarnham at around 4pm.
A woman was taken from the scene by air ambulance to a Dublin hospital.
She's being treated for serious injuries.
An infant boy was removed by ambulance to Midland Regional Hospital in Mullingar, where he was later pronounced dead.
The remains of a young girl were also discovered at the scene.
Gardaí say enquires are ongoing.
