Two people have been arrested on suspicion of a Cork man's murder over the weekend.
On Saturday, Paul Jones remains were found in a house on the Bandon Road, Cork City.
The 55-year-old's remains were discovered by Gardai shortly after 11.30am that morning.
This morning, a woman in her early 50s and a man in his early 40s were arrested.
They are being held on suspicion of murder at Togher and Mayfield Garda Stations.
Both are detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
