The Teachers Union of Ireland has voted to accept the Haddinton Road Agreement.
T.U.I. members voted by a majority of 54 per cent to accept the pay deal.
Earlier, members of the A.S.T.I teaching union rejected the deal and voted in favour of industrial action.
The T.U.I. General Secretary, John MacGabhann says his members voted to accept the Haddington Road Agreement with a real sense of reluctance.
