A Trinity College academic, who specialises in ancient languages, played a pivotal role in a new Marvel movie.
Dr Martin Worthington brought the "dead language" of Babylonian back to life for "Eternal" - the latest movie from Marvel Studios.
In it, immortal gods that were once hidden as myths come back to life to save the earth.
For the role, actors were asked to speak the ancient Iraqi language, which died out over 2,000 years ago.

Dr Martin Worthington (literally) wrote the book on the language, after publishing "Teach Yourself Complete Babylonian" in 2010.
Eternal stars a number of A-Listers including Angelina Jolie, Gemma Chan, Salma Hayek and Dubliner Barry Keoghan.
