A toddler is in a serious condition in hospital, after she was knocked down by a car in a hit and run in Dublin's Phoenix Park this evening.
Gardai are investigating the incident which happened on the North Road at around half past six.
The 2 year old old was rushed to the Children's University Hospital in Temple Street.
Gardai say a 24 year old man was arrested a short time later in relation to this incident, and is currently being detained at Cabra Garda Station.
