Ray Foley on Today FM managed to track down the Irish man taking the internet by storm.
Eddie O'Keeffe from Limerick gate-crashed French television with his now iconic "je suis une baguette", which translates as I am a baguette.

Eddie, from Kilfinane in Limerick, has been living in Dubai since April last year, where he works as an engineer for Amazon.
Asked about the reaction since, Eddie told Ray Foley: “it’s mental, my phone has been hopping! I can’t even do a day’s work here!” Eddie also joked that his mother, back in Limerick, can’t understand it all – “my mother’s disgusted with me! She’s seen all this stuff online”
Eddie also took the opportunity to give a shout out to his Leaving Cert French teacher from school, Ms Marie Power and said he missed the “aul parisien’s”, “the chicken fillet rolls”!
