Gardaí, who say they're treating it as a possible hate crime, arrested three teenage boys in the Navan area this morning.
They're continuing to investigate the incident and say a family liaison officer has been appointed to support the victim and his family.
Gardaí are again appealing to people to stop sharing a video of the incident on social media.
