Danish police believe a gunman who killed three people in a shopping centre was acting alone, and selected his victims at random.
Two of the dead were just 17, while four others have critical injuries.
A 22 year-old Danish man - known to mental health services - has been arrested.
"We know now that there was no particular motive from this 22-year-old man," says Reuters reporter Nikolaj Skydsgaard in Copenhagen
"Police haven't been able to uncover anything in terms of race or gender or anything - the victims of this attack were random."
The man is due to appear in court later.
Copenhagen chief police inspector Soeren Thomassen says a terror motive has been ruled out.
